SoulKind is building a programme of carefully supported Mentor-Led Adventures for people affected by life-changing trauma. Our ambition is to deliver at least three adventures every year, supporting a minimum of 18 people directly.
Why invest?
One adventure can directly affect six people. But the ambition is much bigger.
We want to create meaningful experiences, learn from them and use the stories and insight they generate to reach more people and challenge perceptions of trauma.
A tangible investment in people
SoulKind doesn't simply deliver an adventure and move on.
With consent, we capture the experience through film, photography and words — giving participants a voice, sharing what we learn and helping individual experiences reach much further.
Because the story can travel further than the adventure.

This is more than a single programme. It marks the beginning of SoulKind's long-term vision to create carefully supported opportunities for people affected by trauma and adversity through adventure, nature and human connection.
As our first Mentor-Led Adventure, this pilot will help us refine and develop a model that complements traditional support. The learning, feedback and lived experiences shared throughout the programme will help shape future adventures, ensuring they remain thoughtful, trauma-informed and accessible to more people over time.
The inspiration for this work began with Poppy's story – a powerful reminder of the lasting impact of child sexual abuse and the importance of creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and others.
We believe everyone deserves opportunities to experience connection, belonging and possibility, regardless of the challenges they have faced.
