  • Founder / Creative Director

Jamie Rudd is an award winning Creative Director and lover of the outdoors who finds inspiration in adventure and storytelling. With 20+ years’ experience in the creative industry, he has worked for multiple design agencies across a variety of design disciplines and media. In 2011 he set up his own brand consultancy with a simple goal in mind – to deliver creative solutions with substance and integrity.

Following a life-changing car accident in 2018, Jamie founded SoulKind – a printed book series which explores how we can be resilient and overcome adversity or trauma to thrive again by adapting the right mindset.

Now Jamie's mission is to pay back the help and kindness he received by supporting others at a vital time in their own recovery journey through the SoulKind community interest company.

  • Director / Photography lead

Dave Z has been a paramedic for over 11 years, witnessing the very best and worst life has to offer, understanding more than most that life is short. Recently, he has taken a step away from the Ambulance service to focus on his passion for photography and adventure, finding joy and comfort in capturing people's spirit and the love found in all aspects of day to day life.

Dave and Jamie met somewhat serendipitously late in 2023 whilst trekking the Himalaya and he has been the SoulKind photographer in chief ever since.

  • Director

Dr Julian Thompson is a Consultant in Intensive Care, Clinical Director of the Severn Major Trauma Network, Associate Professor at the University of Stavanger, Norway, and a Critical Care Doctor for the Great Western Air Ambulance.

Julian was trained in Oxford and London, completed a doctorate in hypoxia and genetics at University College London and has worked in a range of international healthcare systems. Previous leadership experience includes being Executive Director of London’s Air Ambulance from 2011-15, working as a medical officer in the British Army and leading expeditions that include reaching the summit of Mount Everest. He is Deputy Editor of the Scandinavian Journal of Trauma, Resuscitation and Emergency Medicine and his research interests include critical care, major trauma and extreme environment medicine.
